The last meeting of the World Pilates Confederation in 2020 was hold in ZOOM in 22nd Dec, with the presence of the main member of the Confederation, including the President and the Vice President and we have the honor to have Mr. Janez Sodrznik, a board member of TAFISA and board member of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. The meeting starts at 3:30 p.m. (GMT). The organizing Committee starts explaining about the activities of The World Pilates Confederation (WPC) in 2020 and mentions that with the efforts of the Vice President, Dr. Iman Mottaghian Nejad, now WPC is and official member of TAFISA, the leading international Sport for All organization, which is a very big honor and the gate to big changes in the Pilates world.

The first speaker was Mr. Janez Sodrznik, first he expressed his sincere congratulation to everybody in WPC to be a member of TAFISA. He said that on the behalf of our president and our secretary general I am telling you that we will help you in any way we can. He also tells that the next Congress of TAFISA in 2021 will be in Slovenia and he invites all WPC board member to participate in this congress.

The second speaker was Ms. Kathy Corey, The president of the World Pilates Confederation and Mother of the Pilates World. She explains that all the members of WPC believes that the Pilates is a life-long learning opportunity to promote global unity and education of pilates. WPC is a World Pilates organization to support Pilates method and unite all Pilates instructors around the world and educate them according to the higher standards. Our mission is to provide quality education. She mentions that we need to connect to the spirit of Pilates. We need to create a community of professionals and practitioners and we welcome every body and support them. She also mentions that nowadays we need Pilates more than ever. At the end she said that me along with Mr. Iman Mottaghian Nejad have been working on the foundation of these organization for about 2 years.

Then, Dr. Iman Mottaghian Nead, the Vice President of the World Pilates Confederation welcomed everybody and wish everybody a happy new year. He wished to see everybody in near future and he said that I have big decisions to made in Pilates to promote this sport around the world.

The next speakers include Mr. Fabrice Lamego from France who is a board member, Mr. Damitha Nuwan from Srilanka, Ms. Charles Berg from Sydney, Australia, Mr. Andrey Novikov from Moscow, Russia, Mr. Reiner Grootenhuis from Germany and Ms. Suus Wilms-Janssen from Netherlands.

At the end of the meeting everybody agrees to use #pilates_is_my_life in all their Instagram posts and to create a WhatApp group so that they communicate easily.
