A native of Guadeloupe, French West Indies, Fabrice Lamego had been dancing for eleven years when he began to study Pilates in New York during 1997. In 2002, he completed his Polestar® certification under the tutelage of Brent Anderson, and he began teaching by the end of that year. His approach to Pilates is enhanced by the consciousness of body and movement that he developed during his career as a dancer and choreographer. He has taught at studios in New York, Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Lausanne, and Venice, among others, and enjoys working with an international clientele.
In 2009 Fabrice became a master instructor for Balanced Body Education. Since 2013 he is the co-director of Studio Pilates Lausanne and the run the education department as well.
In 2015 Fabrice enrolled in a two years post graduate program under the tutelage of Kathy Corey in Lausanne. “I’m very grateful to have done this program, it was such an honor to work with Kathy that helped me deepen my understanding of the method”. Fabrice is an international presenter.
