From 1st to 4th September, the Pilates Heritage Congress convened in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

Kathy Corey, President of the World Pilates Confederation (WPC) and a member of the TAFISA International Sports Association, gave her gracious welcome and expressed her appreciation for the presence of 131 esteemed coaches from 36 countries.

she has been noted that Pilates instructors from various nations have made an effort to raise their technical and theoretical proficiencies through the specialized classes of the Pilates machine, which posed a challenge both scientifically and practically.

Lolita San Miguel, a celebrated forerunner in Pilates, was further invited to attend the congress, and to actively presence as a Member of the WPC Board of Directors.

Reiner Grootenhuis and other trainers were also invited to take part in the WPC Board of Directors.

Mr. Grootenhuis declared that through the efforts of Vice-President Iman Mottaghiannejad, the World Pilates Confederation has successfully applied and been accepted as a TAFISA Member.
He commendably praised Mottaghiannejad for his outstanding assistance to the Pilates community.

On the 1st of September, the two had a meeting held at the TAFISA Headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, in which TAFISA formally confirmed its support towards its member organization, the World Pilates Confederation.
